Silk-screening
is a durable way to add instructions or a corporate identity to your
cases. We do both artwork and application in-house to maintain our
delivery schedule, and ensure a quality result. |

Silk-screening
is a means of printing an identical image many times over (for prints that
each require different data, contact us
about engraved or machine-stamped plates). The silk-screen process
involves artwork (getting your logo etc. onto a single-colour transparency
- each colour requires a separate transparency); "burning" a
screen - This uses the transparency to etch the image onto a treated,
taut piece of nylon; set-up - The burned screen must be taped and
the case properly cleaned; and printing - each colour must be
printed separately, generally on our in-house press. We can screen
directly onto your case, or onto Lexan (polycarbonate) or aluminum plates.
Plates allow us to screen enough to outfit several orders, with only the
normal per/piece or minimum charge - a good way to keep costs down if you
plan on ordering cases over a longer period of time. Boxer maintains a
wide selection of colours, and can have ink colour-matched for special
applications. Silk-screening gives a more professional-looking, and
generally longer lasting job than stencilling. Please Note: While we do
run a 4-colour press, we are not set-up to run 4-colour process screening.
We have outside contractors available if this is a necessity. . |
